This category includes managers, professionals, technologists and technicians, and skilled trades workers. A relevant university (or college) degree or diploma, any relevant professional designation, proof of direct relevant experience must be shown. Designated Health Professionals
Canada has a growing demand for health professionals such as registered nurses, midwives, registered psychiatric nurses, and physicians. Health professionals working in Canada are usually paid higher than many other professionals. International Graduates

This category is open to select occupations only, and is based on the current need in the region. Currently tourism/hospitality workers and long-haul truck drivers are in need and any one with these qualifications can apply for a work permit in this category.
