According to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), every year, over 90,000 foreign workers enter Canada to work temporarily in jobs that help Canadian employers address skill shortages, or as live-in caregivers. A work permit is needed for most temporary jobs in Canada.

Assess the
clients qualifications
Review and
analyze documents received in support of the client's education
and training, work experience and civil status
Wherever
applicable, assist the client in achieving eligibility in
accordance with the criteria established by provincial licensing
agencies
Provide the
client with counselling and guidance for seeking employment
Prepare and
modify clients resumes to match with the requirements for the
Canadian labor market
Research
relevant labor market and seek suitable job opportunities for
the client where feasible, and facilitate communications with
the employers
Keep client's
resumes and job applications with the employers and associations
up-to-date and active
Facilitate and
assist the client for the purpose of Skilled Workers Program
approved by HRSDC
Assist clients
and the employer in completing all the paper work regarding the
job offer and other issues involved in the HRSDC approval
