OUR FOUNDER & CEO: MUNIR RIASAT

Mr. Riasat immigrated to Canada in 1980, and learned, first-hand, the challenges and difficulties individuals face when moving to a new country.
He persevered though, and went on to a successful career in international business and human resource consulting. In 1998, with his personal experience of immigrating in mind, Mr. Riasat decided to make helping other immigrants his life work and began the process of becoming an immigration consultant.. In 2001, he openned the doors to North Star Immigration and Employment in Surrey, British Colmbia.
Today, Mr Riasat is one of the most respected immigration consultants in B.C. He was formerly an instructor for the Immigration Diploma Program at Ashton College, and co-authored the on-line Immigration Diploma Program curriculum program for the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC). Moreover, he served as National Director of Education for the Canadian Association of of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). As a result of his expertise, Mr. Riasat has been asked to make presentations at immigration conferences throughout the country and is often quoted in local and national media.

| Mr. Riasat has also an active member of the community, having been involved with several non-profit organziations and non-government organizations (NGO) in both Canada and Pakistan. In his spare time enjoys skydiving and trekking. |
